Procedures for Parent/Guardian Violations of the Code of Conduct:
CSC Parents and guardians are required to adhere to the Parent’s Code of Conduct. Violation of the Parent’s Code of Conduct will be brought before the CSC Disciplinary Committee, Technical Director, the Club VP, and the Club President for review and possible suspension.
In the event that a parent or guardian violates the Parent’s Code of Conduct at a game or training session, as determined by the Coach or Team Manager, the Coach or Team Manager may take any of the following actions:
Direct the offending parent to leave the field;
Remove the player of the offending parent from the practice or the game and direct both parent and player to leave the field.
Refer the matter to the CSC Disciplinary Committee, Technical Director, Club VP, and/or Club President for review and possible sanctions. The matter will be investigated and a determination shall be made as to what, if any, sanctions shall apply. Sanctions may include, but are not necessarily limited to warning, suspension, probation, and/or dismissal from the Club. CSC procedures are in accordance with all state and/or local guidelines for participation and promoting the values of the Chantilly Soccer Club. In all cases, the decisions of the Disciplinary Committee, the Technical Director, the Club VP, and the Club President are final and not subject to appeal.
Behavior by the parent and/or player in contravention to the player or parent code of conduct and/or deemed inappropriate by the CSC Club TD and the Board of Directors will result in disciplinary action which may include but is not limited to the following:
Issue a letter of reprimand;
Place on probation with such special conditions as are deemed appropriate
Suspend for a definite period of time not to exceed one (1) year from the date of offense.
Disciplinary action may be extended to include all family members.
If the Club TD and Board of Directors finds the conduct of any player/parent purposely ignoring CSC rules and regulations or is detrimental to the objectives of the club, it may suspend the member in a process outlined in the CSC Bylaws, or take such sanctions or actions deemed necessary under the circumstances.
