Revs Take PWSI The Chantilly Revolution ’97, a Chantilly Soccer Club 10 and

Courage
Take Liberty Cup
Congratulations
to FC Virginia Courage 94 for winning the Premier group of the U13 girls in the
inaugural FPYC Liberty Cup Invitational over the weekend. Playing in an
eight-team group with a points-only path the championship, the Courage were
guaranteed four games, but only needed three to secure the championship. The
U-13 WAGS team representing FC Virginia and Chantilly Soccer Club were the only team to win their first three matches, securing nine points out of nine
possible. By the time the girls showed up for their 5 PM final game on Sunday
all other group play had completed, with the next closest team only having
earned eight points. Congratulations on a great beginning to the spring season,
and on scoring some really gorgeous goals.

Panthers
'96 White Chill and Thrill at the PWSI Icebreaker On
a cold and windy weekend the Chantilly Panthers '96 White U11 girls turned in
an outstanding effort posting four straight shut out victories and freezing out
the competition at the PWSI Icebreaker. The Panthers used their speed and
skill advantage to control the flow of each game and dominate in time of
possession. A stifling defense allowed very few opportunities to our
opponents and forced them to play much of the game in the shadow of their own nets. On offense the Panther girls showed great ball control and passing skill allowing them to score 10 goals of their own in tough conditions as they walked away with a perfect 4-0-0 record and the tournament championship. Way to go Panthers!
Arsenal Gets Off to Strong Start The U15 Chantilly Arsenal rolled to a "Classic" division championship in the Arlington Spring Invitational on March 8-9. The Arsenal, featuring 15 girls playing on high school teams, outscored opposition from Arlington, Springfield, and FCV by 12-4, with goals from nine different players.
